Cross Country Metro Results: Both Teams Take 3rd Overall

Both the boys and girls teams placed 3rd today and the girls were racing without 3 of our varsity runners. Cross country tentative try out date

Boone Boys and Girls Cross Country try outs will tentatively be held on Monday, August 31 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.  Meet in Wadeview Park near the playground. Your physical packet must be cleared in order to try out.

The Girls’ Cross Country Team placed 22 of 32 at States

The girls race saw 4 girls in the 17’s and 13 girls in the 18’s including our own Carolyn Brown who ran a personal record of 18:52 to place 15th overall after coming in ranked 32nd. Her previous best time was 19:29 from regionals. The rest of our team braved the colder weather (48 degrees
