Boys & Girls Cross Country Team tryouts are August 12, 13, and 14th

Boys & Girls Cross Country Team tryouts are August 12, 13, and 14 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. You must be present all three days. Your FHSAA physical form must be cleared prior to tryouts. No physical = no tryout. Meet at the 700 building at the south end of Boone’s campus to change in the locker

Cross Country Informational Meeting 5/16

There will be an informational meeting Thursday, May 16 at 7 p.m. on Boone’s campus (700 building near Wadeview Pool) for all incoming freshmen, current Boone students, and returning cross country runners interested in running this upcoming school year. High school cross country teams condition in the summer. We meet 3 mornings a week 6:30 a.m. – 8:30

Girl Cross Country Regional Results

The competition was blazing yesterday as this could be called the “state meet” as 16 of the state’s top 25 teams were in this region. Our girls went into the meet ranked 25th in the state. So only 6 of the teams would move onto state meaning 10 of the fastest teams stay home next

Cross Country District Meet Update

The cross country teams will compete at the district meet this Friday. Varsity girls are 8:45 and varsity boys are 9:15. The meet will now be held at West Orange High School.

Girls Cross Country Success at Qualifying Meet Placing 3rd

VARSITY GIRLS:  It was an interesting day on the girls side as Lake Brantley’s team did not run meaning the #1 anticipated finisher (who runs 18:22)  wasn’t competing and then Timbercreek pulled their #1 runner out (18:26) today. Trinity Prep held out 2-3 girls and just had them run a tempo practice on the course

What an outstanding day for Boone Cross Country yesterday at the Embry Riddle meet! Both varsity teams finished 4th overall, JV boys finished 4th as well, and the girls JV brought home the 3rd place team trophy! We had a number of athletes finish in the top 15 bringing home very nice dri-fit meet shirts

The varsity girls were led by senior Hannah Schneeberger in a PR (personal record) of 21:51. Her best time prior to this was last year’s regional meet of 21:52.
