Congratulations to the All Metro Award Winners for 2018-2019 Sports

Congratulations to the 45 Student-Athletes who were acknowledged by their conferences as being outstanding athletes. These athletes were given First Team All-Metro for their sports. Lady Braves Selected for Basketball All Metro Team

In basketball news, two Lady Braves have been selected to the Metro All Conference  teams.  Junior Maddy Morales earned a 1st team All-Conference selection as she scored over 16 points per game while leading the team in the same area.  Maddy averaged over 3 rebounds and assists per game and maintained one of the highest

Girl’s Basketball Improved Season to 20-6

The girls’ basketball team entered into District play against University High on Tuesday night.  The Lady Braves completed the season sweep of the Cougars with an impressive opening round win, 67 – 36.  The Braves were led by Juniors Aubrey Phillips (18 points) and Maddy Morales (15 points, 10 assists).  Senior Amiya Bowers added 11

Girls Basketball Improves to 18-5 in their Season!

In Basketball action, the Lady Braves improved to 18-5 for the season with a 51-40 win over East River in the Metro Finale.  Maddy Morales led the team with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Alex Lemmon poured in 12 points to seal the deal for the Braves.

Girls Varsity Defeats First Academy 55-43

On Friday night, the Varsity Lady Braves basketball team defeated First Academy 55 – 43 to move to 14 – 5 for the season.  Aubrey Phillips led all scorers with 16 points and 8 rebounds.  Maddy Morales and Julianna Fowler both had “Double-Double” performances with Morales going for 15 points and 10 rebounds added to

Lady Brave Basketball Defeats Lake Nona

In basketball action, the Lady Braves travelled to Lake Nona High and returned with a 2 game sweep.  In the JV’s 28- 10 win, the team was led by Janeen Thomas with 8 points and Jenna Sankey with 6.  The Varsity girls improved their record to 13 – 4 with a dominating 63 – 38
