The Lady Braves Lacrosse team took on Metro Conference East foe in Freedom on Monday night. The Lady Braves would score the game’s first five goals, and then scoring another eight goals to end the first half up 13-1.

To begin the second half, Boone would score six straight goals to preserve the strong win.

The Lady Braves were led by Senior Attackman Juliette Paymayesh and Senior Defenseman Lily Goeb. Paymayesh would score six goals, while Goeb would score three, including two highlight-reel, long distance goals from outside of the 12 meter. Senior Defenseman Kiyah Costin had a team high three groundballs. Savannah Partlow earned a game high five draw controls. Multiple Braves ended the night with one or two goals.

Senior Goalie Gabby Roberts earned her third win of the year, making 2 saves. Roberts would share the cage with fellow her keeper, Sophomore Kira McMullen. McMullen would add three saves of her own.

The Lady Braves improve to 3-0 on the year (0-0 District, 3-0 Metro). They are back in action on Thursday for their fourth Metro East game of the year against the Winter Park Lady Wildcats.
